Many innovations such as MDT and RI were 'forced' through optimization at extreme scale, making them unsuitable for data lake scenarios in medium-sized enterprises. 2. Although Hudi is powerful, its complexity is also high, and its community activity and ecosystem maturity lag behind Delta Lake (led by Databricks) or Iceberg (led by Netflix). Particularly in China, the maintenance and hiring costs for Hudi are likely to be higher. 3. Hudi's biggest obstacle in China is its learning curve and operational complexity.
