While the future of modern Web standards looks promising, in reality, IE11 could instantly regress your project to the past, let alone various bizarre domestic knockoff browsers. Most frontend projects are hesitant to adopt them extensively. 2. The claim of 'outperforming JS libraries' is somewhat exaggerated. While Popover and Dialog APIs are useful, complex interactions and custom requirements still require JS implementation. These APIs address the 'existence' problem but the 'usability' depends on customization. 3. WebAssembly offers strong performance but has a high development threshold. Not all frontend teams have Rust/C++ expertise. The so-called 'zero-copy' is more theoretical performance; in practice, business logic complexity remains the primary bottleneck, making WASM potentially counterproductive. 4. WebTransport adoption in China feels more like 'pie-in-the-sky'. HTTP/3 QUIC's adoption rate and server-side support are unsatisfactory, and operators' QoS handling for UDP is questionable. This technology stack's upgrade cost is substantial. 5. File System Access API sounds impressive, but security and user authorization are critical issues. Browsers enforce strict file system access controls, requiring popups for every read/write operation, which could degrade user experience. Local file operations also challenge the sandbox security of Web applications.

1. Internationally, the trend toward modern Web standards is clear, with browser vendors actively promoting these APIs. For example, Chrome has made significant investments in Speculation Rules and View Transitions APIs. Leading frameworks like React and Vue are beginning to explore integration with these native capabilities. 2. Domestically, these APIs face significant adoption barriers. Besides Chrome, other major domestic browsers (such as 360, QQ Browser, etc.) lag severely in compatibility. Many enterprise internal applications update browser versions slowly, forcing frontend teams to prioritize backward compatibility over adopting the latest APIs. 3. In my view, the widespread adoption of these APIs is a long and gradual process. It's premature to declare they 'outperform common JS libraries' yet. A more realistic approach is to experimentally integrate them in specific scenarios like Electron apps, internal tools, or highly controlled H5 environments, while massive online products should remain cautious.

The so-called 'zero-copy' and 'asynchronous parallel' sound appealing, but actual implementation requires strict control over Native memory lifecycle. Any error results in Segment Fault, directly terminating the Node.js process with significantly increased debugging difficulty. 3. SIMD compatibility is a pitfall - different CPUs have varying instruction sets (AVX2, AVX-512, NEON). Your extension must have dynamic detection capabilities, otherwise it will fail outright on older hardware. 4. Deployment environment is the biggest limiting factor. Node applications with Native extensions face severe challenges on mainstream FaaS/Serverless platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Alibaba Cloud Function Compute) due to lack of permissions for customized Native compilation and packaging.
